On a late summer evening in Columbia, Tennessee, the life of 53-year-old Michael Shea Boyd was brought to a violent and tragic end. On September 4, 2021, Boyd was fatally shot at a residence on East 8th Street. The individual sought in connection with the shooting was Wayne Vandiver. An alert was issued to the public, describing Vandiver as armed and dangerous and advising that he might be traveling in a specifically described vehicle.
