On a late summer evening in Columbia, Tennessee, the life of 53-year-old Michael Shea Boyd was brought to a violent and tragic end. On September 4, 2021, Boyd was fatally shot at a residence on East 8th Street. The Columbia Police Department responded to the scene and immediately began an investigation into the male's death, quickly identifying a person of interest.
