Ted Albin Honning, a 62-year-old man from Columbia, Tennessee, was tragically found dead on October 15, 2020. The investigation led by the Maury County Sheriff's Office revealed that Honning was shot once in the hip and twice in the head with a 30-40 Krag rifle, a family heirloom dating back to the Spanish-American War. The perpetrator, James Adam Boyd, wrapped Honning's body in a carpet and dog food bags before the body was discovered.
