On the evening of August 18, 2023, the life of 34-year-old Devetrus Jamerson, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. in the 3300 block of Hardin Avenue. When officers from the Tillman Station of the Memphis Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Jamerson suffering from gunshot wounds.
