On August 18, 2023, at approximately 7:05 p.m., officers from the Tillman Station of the Memphis Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 3300 block of Hardin Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Devetrus Jamerson suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services pronounced Jamerson deceased at the scene.
