On May 14, 2025, RC Alexander, a 62-year-old African American man from Memphis, Tennessee, was reported missing after being shot outside his home in South Memphis. His girlfriend discovered him with a gunshot wound and left to seek help, but upon returning with police, Alexander was no longer at the scene.
