On December 15, 2023, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a mass shooting occurred at the Miracle-Perfection Hand Carwash and Detailing on Riverdale Road in the Hickory Hill area of Memphis, Tennessee. Five men were shot during the incident. One victim, aged 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other four were transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, where 20-year-old La’Marrius Johnson later succumbed to his injuries.
