On May 19, 2013, 18-year-old Brandon Chaffin was shot in a mass shooting that took place in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred in the Western Heights area, and Chaffin, along with several others, sustained gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Chaffin was pronounced dead upon arrival.
