On April 2, 2024, Troy Cunningham was fatally shot in the Hollywood area of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred near the Cavalier Court Apartments in North Memphis, close to the intersection of Peres and Merton Street. Memphis Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call in the vicinity of Hollywood Street and heard multiple gunshots during their investigation.
