On April 3, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to a shooting incident in the 4500 block of Jonesy Lane in Southeast Shelby County, Memphis, Tennessee. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 25-year-old Justin Terrell Walker suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he had been shot nine times. Walker was immediately transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
