Death by Force

On September 18, 2023, 24-year-old Martavious Pryor was fatally shot at a Valero gas station in the 2300 block of Airways Boulevard in Memphis, Tennessee. According to his mother, Dedrus Peterson, Pryor was attacked by an individual he considered a friend during a robbery. The assailant reportedly robbed Pryor and then shot him in the back of the head. Despite being transported to a hospital, Pryor succumbed to his injuries the following day.
