Shahid Solomon Zamar

On the morning of July 4, 2017, Shahid Solomon Zamar, a 40-year-old African American male, was working his shift as a clerk at the Marathon gas station located at 8 South Parkway East in Memphis, Tennessee. It was early in the morning when the ordinary course of his workday was violently interrupted. During what would be determined to be a robbery, Zamar was fatally shot.
