On June 7, 2020, 36-year-old Ernest Berry Neal was tragically shot and killed outside his home in Longview, Texas. Neal was found dead with a gunshot wound just after 8:30 a.m. by responding officers who arrived at the scene in the 3400 block of Morrison Street. The incident was reported as a murder, and the investigation into his death remains ongoing.
