On a tragic autumn evening in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the life of 33-year-old Jerqune Bassham was abruptly cut short. On November 1, 2023, Bassham, a Black male, was discovered outside a local restaurant with a gunshot wound. Emergency services arrived at the scene and quickly transported him to Skyline Medical Center in an effort to save his life. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
