On a tragic Tuesday morning in Camden, New Jersey, a young White boy's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Eight-year-old John Wilson, a male resident of the area, was caught in a deadly rampage that unfolded on September 6, 1949. He was in a car with his mother, Helen Wilson, and grandmother, Emma Matlack, when they were targeted by a lone gunman.
