In the late afternoon of Thursday, March 28, 2024, emergency services in Greene County, Tennessee, received a distressing 911 call reporting a possible shooting at a residence in the 5600 block of Old Stage Road in Chuckey. Deputies from the Greene County Sheriff's Department were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, they discovered 73-year-old Clarence “Lynn” Devoti inside the home, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Officers attempted to administer CPR ...
