Death by Force

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a possible shooting at a residence in the 5600 block of Old Stage Road in Chuckey, Tennessee. Upon arrival, they discovered 73-year-old Clarence "Lynn" Devoti suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies attempted CPR, but Devoti was pronounced dead at the scene by arriving EMS personnel.
