In the quiet setting of a Lakeland, Tennessee campground, a heated dispute shattered the evening calm and left a 58-year-old man, Timm Rudolph, dead from a gunshot wound. The incident, which authorities have described as domestic in nature, occurred on the evening of December 18, 2024, at the Memphis East Campground located on Justin Lake Cove. Reports from the scene indicated that a physical altercation preceded the fatal shooting.
Deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office were
dispatched to the campground around 9:30 p.m. following reports of a fight. Upon their arrival, they discovered Timm Rudolph on the ground, unresponsive.
