In the quiet town of Acworth, New Hampshire, the life of a young woman named Carrie Hicks, a 25-year-old Caucasian female, was tragically cut short on a cold winter day. On February 24, 2007, she was found deceased, resting on a couch in a home located at 146 Beryl Mountain Road. The cause of her death was determined to be two gunshot wounds to her left temple, a grim discovery that led the medical examiner to rule her death a homicide.
