A woman is found strangled, tied to a tree, with a rope around her neck
On October 4, 1998, the body of 31-year-old Mindy West was discovered in a wooded area off Huse Road, a residential neighborhood in Manchester, New Hampshire. Mindy had been reported missing on July 30, 1998, and her body was found tied to a tree with a rope around her neck. An autopsy revealed that she had been strangled to death. At the time of her disappearance, Mindy was transient, known to frequent the inner city of Manchester, which made the investigation more challenging.
