Johnathan Stewart, a 33-year-old man from Jefferson County, was fatally shot on September 24, 2017, in East Knoxville, Tennessee. The Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene on Ben Hur Avenue and found Stewart dead from at least one gunshot wound. The incident was quickly classified as a homicide, and the investigation began immediately.
