On April 30, 2024, at approximately 7:44 p.m., Memphis Police responded to a shooting incident in the 3200 block of Hardin Avenue in The Heights neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Martavion S. Carmichael deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
