On the evening of June 6, 2024, 24-year-old Melvin Tabor was fatally shot in the Westwood neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred near the intersection of Shelby Drive and Southaven Road shortly after 10:15 p.m., when Memphis Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds, both pronounced dead at the scene.
