In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of 19-year-old Darwin Ricardo Henriquez-Perdomo was tragically cut short. On June 16, 2024, Henriquez-Perdomo, a male of Hispanic descent, was in the parking lot behind 3901 Nolensville Pike where a chaotic scene was unfolding. Witnesses reported a large gathering of vehicles, with drivers performing donuts and driving erratically.
Amidst this turmoil, multiple gunshots rang out, and Henriquez-Perdomo was struck in the head.
Following the shooting, which occurred around 1:30 a.m., Henriquez-Perdomo was driven to Southern Hills Medical Center by unknown individuals who left immediately after dropping him off. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to Skyline Medical Center in extremely critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Darwin Ricardo Henriquez-Perdomo succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Homicide detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are actively investigating the shooting. As of now, the motive for the gunfire remains unclear, and no suspects have been publicly identified or arrested in connection with the death of Henriquez-Perdomo. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and have offered a reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible.
