Death by Force

On July 26, 2024, 17-year-old Caleb Womack was fatally shot in his home on Bryan Street in the Old Hickory neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, multiple gunshots were fired into the duplex from the roadway around 12:45 a.m., striking Womack as he sat in the living room. He was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
