Ian Patrick Patterson, a 17-year-old male of Chapmansboro, was fatally shot on October 11, 2015, while standing outside his car in the parking lot of the James Cayce housing development in Nashville, TN. Patterson was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died. The incident occurred when Patterson came to the area to buy cocaine. During the robbery, Patterson was shot by one of the suspects.
