In the early hours of a summer night in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of 33-year-old Patrick Howard Charles was cut short. On June 10, 2023, the man, known to some as a music artist and warehouse worker, was involved in a fatal altercation at a bar on Music Row. Security guards at the establishment shot and killed him, an event that would be later described by those guards as an act of self-defense.
