Death by Force

On October 21, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee, 48-year-old Fernando Jones was fatally shot while confronting individuals attempting to break into his vehicle. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 7000 block of Cutter Mill Road. Jones observed several people trying to burglarize his car in his driveway. When he opened his front door and yelled at them, he was shot multiple times. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
