On January 28, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Adams and Rising Sun Avenues in the city's Crescentville neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Maison Hernandez lying on the ground in a parking lot, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the back of the head.
