On February 12, 2023, at approximately 2:49 p.m., Allegheny County police and medics responded to reports of a shooting at the Bryn Mawr Court apartments in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, they discovered 40-year-old Daniel Richard Hurley with a gunshot wound. Hurley was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
