On a cold January evening in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, the life of 19-year-old Dorrel Ferguson was tragically cut short. On January 4, 2025, police responded to a call at approximately 8:25 p.m. and discovered Ferguson's body on a sidewalk in the 1000 block of Ross Avenue. He had sustained a single gunshot wound to his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was a male who resided in Wilkinsburg.
