On May 27, 2023, at approximately midnight, 32-year-old Michael "Tomlinese" Tomlin was fatally shot on Franklin Avenue in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Tomlin, a well-known figure in Pittsburgh's music scene, was pronounced dead at the scene.
