In the early hours of a March morning in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, the life of 24-year-old Charles Carr was cut short. Known affectionately as 'Moo,' Carr was a former standout football player at Hickory High School, where he set a record as Mercer County's all-time leading rusher. His athletic prowess had earned him a scholarship to California University of Pennsylvania.
