On June 27, 2023, at approximately 9:42 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 3100 block of North Stillman Street in North Philadelphia. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Nadir Smith lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head, chest, and back. Smith was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:45 p.m.
