On August 28, 2023, in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, 69-year-old Michael Glen Oliver and his wife, 68-year-old Deborah Oliver, were found deceased on the deck of their home, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Friends, concerned for the couple's well-being, discovered their bodies and alerted authorities. The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
