On October 6, 2023, at approximately 2:47 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a person with a gun on the 5700 block of Germantown Avenue in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Upon arrival, they discovered 44-year-old Aaron Thomas lying in the street outside a white Dodge Charger, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Thomas was immediately transported to Jefferson-Einstein Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
