On December 29, 2023, at approximately 8:40 p.m., 44-year-old Ada Ortiz and her 1-year-old grandson, Sebastian Serrano Jr., were fatally shot in their home on the 100 block of Chestnut Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Both victims were found in the living room, each suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and were pronounced dead at the scene.
