On May 26, 2024, at approximately 5:44 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a person with a gun on the 1700 block of Belmont Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old O'Neil Cumberland in the driver's seat of a silver 2013 Honda Accord, suffering from gunshot wounds. A 20-year-old male passenger was also present, having sustained injuries from broken glass. Both individuals were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment.
