On June 18, 2024, 65-year-old Daniel T. "Slim" Chicka Jr. was fatally shot in Export, Pennsylvania, following a prolonged dispute over a parking space. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Madison Avenue, where Chicka was visiting his girlfriend, Regina Edwards.
