Taekwon Commodore, a 28-year-old man from Republic, was fatally shot during an altercation at Snowden Terrace Apartments in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, on July 5, 2016. The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. when two groups of people were involved in a confrontation. One individual from one of the groups displayed a handgun and began shooting into the air, prompting the other group, which included Commodore, to flee between the apartment buildings.
