On July 23, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., 16-year-old Jamil Wyatt was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Oxford Circle neighborhood. Wyatt was walking alone through a rear driveway on the 1200 block of Van Kirk Street, en route to a local store, when he was ambushed by three masked assailants.
