On August 24, 2024, at approximately 2:17 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a shooting incident on the 2600 block of Rhawn Street. Upon arrival, they learned that 28-year-old Christian Rivera had been transported to Nazareth Hospital in a private vehicle. Rivera had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by medical personnel shortly after his arrival.
