On June 18, 2023, 45-year-old Damien Leon Lovett tragically lost his life in a mass shooting in Greenville, North Carolina. The incident occurred along the 1200 block of 6th Street, where multiple individuals were injured.
The Greenville Police Department released the names of those involved, confirming Lovett as the deceased victim. In addition to Lovett's death, five others sustained injuries during the shooting.
