On July 8, 2023, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2400 block of Turtle Point Road in northeast Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered that two individuals had been transported via private vehicles to local hospitals.
