On July 16, 2023, at approximately 4:27 a.m., Greensboro Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Hideaway Court in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Uriel Jiminez suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services pronounced Jiminez dead at the scene.

The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and as of now, no arrests have been made, nor have any suspects been publicly identified. The ...
