On October 24, 2024, at approximately 2:33 p.m., Greensboro Police Department officers responded to a report of an "unknown problem/person down" in the 3600 block of Hewitt Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Cameron Lee unresponsive, having suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
