Dorian Tawan Edwards, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 19, 2014, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Edwards was a freshman at North Carolina A&T State University, majoring in Chemical Engineering. He was attending an off-campus party at the Sebastian Courtyard apartment complex when the incident occurred. According to the autopsy report, Edwards was fatally shot by a single gunshot wound.
