Carl Edward Melton Jr., a 26-year-old African American male from Thomasville, North Carolina, was tragically killed in a shooting on May 28, 2020, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Strasburg Drive, where police responded to an aggravated assault call at approximately 4:27 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds.
