On February 17, 2024, at approximately 12:19 a.m., Wilson Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 923 Washington Street in Wilson, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Bernard Terrance Javor Blue suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
