Amaru Caevon Carroll-Lee, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 2, 2020, in Wilson, North Carolina. According to reports, Carroll-Lee was shot at his home on Selma Street around 10 p.m. on that fateful night. Despite the efforts of the responding officers, who attempted lifesaving measures, Carroll-Lee succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
