On April 28, 2024, at approximately 2:07 a.m., 37-year-old Julia Ann Shields was shot in the parking lot of CB's Tavern, located on Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on April 29, 2024.
