Elizabeth Emily Dawley, a 14-year-old girl from Winston-Salem, NC, tragically lost her life on October 21, 2004. Elizabeth, along with her parents, Darwin Richard Dawley, 41, and Wendy Sue Dawley, 40, were found dead in their home on West Clemmonsville Road. The medical examiner's office determined that all three family members had been shot in the head, and the case was treated as a murder-suicide.
