Latasha Monique Finney, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 16, 2021, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was found on the ground outside an apartment building at 2862 Piedmont Circle with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident also left another victim, 33-year-old Steven Seward Jr., injured with a gunshot wound and subsequently taken to the hospital.
